ABOUT Me

Greetings, and welcome to my site! My name is Jade Aurora, and I am a Detroit based artist, illustrator, model, cosplayer, and author. Art has always been a lifelong passion, having come from a family of creatives. I began my artistic journey at the age of 7, and at age 13, I made the decision to pursue a career in the arts. I started RoxyJo Creations in 2015, and named it after two important women: Roxanna, my maternal grandmother, who died of cancer in September 2007, and Josephine, my maternal great-great-great aunt, who also died of cancer in January 2008. Both women were creative in their own way, so it was only fitting to name my business after them. And I hope to continue honoring them by sharing my creativity with the world.
